Recently, some of our supporters travelled to France to experience Super Saturday at the Stade De France. The atmosphere was unforgettable with 63,000 fans singing along as the 80 minutes transpired.
MSG’s Customer Experience Travel Coordinator, Sam discusses his experiences:
“WOW! What a weekend!
“The group was welcomed with a trip up to the top of Montparnasse Tower, looking out over Paris, and taking in some of the best views on offer.
“Game day is always an exciting time, and this was no different. We started the day with a very relaxing cruise down the Seine on the Bateaux Mouches, where clients were able to appreciate the weather and sights of Paris, whilst building up their pre-match anticipation.
“Once the group had got in some of their score predictions, we headed off to the Restaurant Chez Francoise for a three-course meal with a few glasses of wine, then Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau was played throughout the restaurant for us all to sing along to.
“Next up was Stade de France, for Wales’s final game of this year’s Guinness Six Nations. The stadium was in full force as both sets of supporters really got behind their teams, in what was an exciting game, with many world-class players on display.
“A few beers later and the match was over, but the day was not done for our supporters. We headed over to the canal where we enjoyed food and a few more beverages with some French rugby players on a local boat. Everyone then had a bit of time to debrief what they had just experienced, followed later by another rendition of Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau with La Marseillaise being sung by the local Parisians."
