The Purpose
Our Tours team in Derby are responsible for groups travelling all over the world for sports, ski or study. Application deadline: 30th May 2024.
The Role
In this role, you will oversee various administrative tasks, collaborate with different departments within the company, and contribute to the overall success of our organisation. Your exceptional problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and passion for the industry will make you an asset to our team.
Specific tasks of the role will include:
- Assisting the operations team with data checking and submissions to airlines to ensure that there are no issues upon passenger arrival at the airport for both inbound and outbound flights.
- Gathering information and generating rooming lists for accommodations from clients to pass onto suppliers again to provide a smooth check in process.
- Help with research for itinerary for planned tours, the candidate will also need to take into consideration the costings for items being researched to ensure the company are not exceeding budgeted spend for tours.
- Assist both the finance and operations teams in ensuring that all systems match with regards to processed and outstanding items.
- Updating our tailor-made travel app ‘Vamoos’ with client itineraries.
- Assist our marketing and operations team to gather all feedback forms once clients have completed their tour, so that information so that it can be presented monthly.

The training you will be getting
- In addition to gaining practical experience in the role, you will also attain an NVQ Level 3 Business Admin qualification which will help start your career and give you an insight into the businesses processes and procedures.
- Our training is all complete remotely via teams with a development coach who will be available for support 24/7.
- You receive 20% off the job training during this Apprenticeship which is included in your weekly working hours.

Annual wage: £11,997.44
Working week: Monday to Friday – Flexible working hours – Usually between the hours of 9.30 – 4pm with a 3.30pm finish on Friday.
Total hours per week: 32
