Our MSG Family returned to the UAE this year for the annual Dubai 7’s tournament. Meeting back up with old friends, making new memories, and enjoying everything that Dubai had to offer. Name a better way to end the year!
We caught up with tour operator Laura:
“Another successful trip to Dubai with MSG Tours. With this being my second trip to the Sevens as the Tour Leader, I knew we were all in for a treat, and we were not left disappointed. As always, the Sevens were planned to perfection with plenty of entertainment and activities for everyone. It was also great to catch up with some old faces and meet new ones for a fantastic weekend with lots of rugby. Hopefully, we'll see you all at the RWC next year!” – Laura (Tour Leader)
Results:
GB's men’s team started with the highlight of their tournament as they sprung a surprise victory over the current holders and eventual winners, South Africa. The women’s team, on the other hand, saw their highlight come against Brazil after a 38-7 demolition by the Brits. Both tournaments ended with the previous winners holding on to the trophies with South Africa defeating Ireland 21-5 in the men's final, whilst the women’s competition, ended with Australia, beating the All Blacks 26-19 in their final.
