Sports Travel specialist MSG Tours Ltd.’s rapid growth continues post-pandemic with the opening of a new Gloucestershire office.
MSG, appointed by World Rugby as Official Travel Agent (OTA) of Rugby World Cup France 2023, are headquartered in Derbyshire and have expanded into the west country as their impressive post-pandemic recovery continues.
The new office in central Gloucester, just 200m from Kingsholm (the home of Gloucester Rugby), accommodates seven operational and customer service staff and is overseen by Head of Customer Experience Louise Pigot who joined the firm earlier this year.
Company director, Kevin Smith, said: “We’re delighted to have opened the new office, in addition to Derby and our satellite office in south-west France taking our head-count to over 20 staff members for the first time. Rugby World Cup 2023 is a huge project for us and it’s great to have a dedicated Customer Experience team working together as we count down to the tournament next September.
We’ve recruited a great team with a blend of travel experience, talent and energy in partnership with the University of Gloucestershire. After working remotely for over two years, it’s great to be back in a vibrant atmosphere of a busy office.”
Along with planning and operating over 2,500 official ticket-inclusive travel packages for Rugby World Cup 2023 the new MSG team in Gloucester is also managing Six Nations supporter trips to Rome and France plus events dotted around the World Rugby Sevens circuit in Dubai, Vancouver and Cape Town.
