MSG Tours Launches Head for Lyon Campaign: Riding for Change in the Rugby World!

MSG Tours, Official Travel Agent for Rugby World Cup France 2023 have launched their Head for Lyon campaign, in support of Head for Change, to raise vital awareness for the education, care and support and potential treatments to sporting heroes, past, present and future that suffer from sports-related brain injuries.

Over 30 riders from Wales and across the UK will be taking on the challenge of riding 493 miles over 5 back-to-back days from the home to London Welsh RFC at Old Deer Park in Richmond, all the way across France to Lyon. Arriving in time to join thousands of fans in the city as Wales take on Australia in the Rugby World Cup.

Averaging around 100 miles each day this will be an epic physical and mental challenge.

But they won’t be alone. Joining them on the challenge are Welsh rugby legends Ian Gough, Tony Copsey as well as Head for Change founder Alix Popham. Also joining the peloton to support the riders through every mile will be Tour de France winner, Geraint Thomas.

We are determined to continue to raise awareness and educate people about sports-related dementia in rugby. With your support, we are fundraising for much needed research in the prevention and cure for early onset dementia and neurogenerative disease in the sport we love.
