Rugby World Cup 2023

Staff Information

Between 7th September and 29th October 2023, thousands of fans will trust MSG to provide exciting travel schedules that crooss each host city. We’re seeking dynamic, robust, innovative and self-motivated individuals to work cohesively across three phases of RWC2023:

Phase 1: ‘The Triple’
Back to back weekends covering the opening three matches (7-26 SEP),
comprising ‘Long Weekend’, Double-Down and ‘Triple’ packages

Phase 2: ‘The Back End’
Penultimate and final Pool weekends (27 SEP-09 OCT)

Phase 3: ‘The Knockouts’Quarter-Finals through to the RWC2023 Final (13-28 OCT)

In Phase One, we have divided the opening weekend into two squads:
Wales and England.
Reporting into Mark Gardner and Kevin Smith, respectively, each team will be assigned roles and responsibilities in the weeks building up to the tournament to meet our delivery needs.

Both teams combine across the weekend of 15-18 September in Nice where England face Japan and Wales play Portugal. That’s our biggest weekend with circa 700 clients spending the weekend with us on the Cote
D’ Azur.

Your role is based on current requirements and subject to change. We are 81% sold out across all RWC2023 touring products and thus additional sales may alter working roles and responsibilities.

A team of staff will remain in-country to deliver the England v Chile (Lille) and Wales v Australia (Lyon) games before Phase Two commences. Staffing announcements for this second period will be made at the start of September and communicated to each individual by Mark/Kevin.
