Wales Tour to Australia

Wales v Australia

The lads are on tour again. We will be following Wales all the way to the land down under for two Tests against Australia in the summer of 2024. Packages TBC.

The Wallabies will be looking for revenge after their massive loss at Rugby World Cup 2023, whilst Wales will be looking to continue their good run of form past the aformentioned tournament.

We currently don’t know the locations of each of the Tests, that opens the door for our supporters to visit different cities from all over Australia, wherever you want to go. Whether it’s Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra or anywhere else we can help. You can find information on the most famous cities below.

The capital of West Australia, Perth is the perfect getaway location for anyone who wants to stay in a high amenity, close knit city. Within a 30-minute drive is everything you need, from beaches and gorgeous parks to ballet, art and opera.

Whether you want to enjoy the sun, relax in natural bushland, see thriving wildlife, sample amazing food and wine or watch the sun set over the Indian Ocean, this city can accommodate all of that. And that is just scratching the surface.

Brisbane is the capital of Queensland; a mixture of the natural world and a stunning man-made skyline with everything you could need inside this metropolis.

If you are looking for an adventure into the Brisbane wilderness you can take a ferry to Moreton Bay for a day of dolphin-feeding and other beach activities. Or you can visit the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary to meet the highlights of Australian wildlife has to offer.

If you are wanting a cultural experience, then the South Bank Cultural Precinct is for you. The home to the Gallery of Modern Art and the Queensland Performing Arts Centre.

Sydney (the capital of New South Wales) is the perfect destination for anyone who likes to see the natural world whilst on holiday. It contains many national parks, botanical gardens, pristine waterways, and even native bushland. There is so much to see whilst exploring Sydney.

If timed right, you may be able to join on the city’s famous celebrations, whether that is for Mardi Gras, Vivid Sydney, the Sydney Festival or the Sydney International Art Series, there is a lot to sink your teeth into.

The capital city of Australia, Canberra, is home to many important landmarks. The Australian War Memorial being one that jumps to mind. It’s a shrine to the fallen soldiers along with a museum and extensive archives of the past.

The art scene in Canberra is also noteworthy with the National Gallery of Australia housing many collections of Aboriginal and Torres Saint Islander art, all of which help tell the Australian story.

If you are going to Australia to explore, Melbourne is the city for you. The capital of Victoria rewards whoever is willing to travel around looking for adventure. With their famous laneways and arcades, you will never have a dull moment as you find hole-in-the-wall cafes and bars scattered throughout the city.

In Melbourne, the adventure is very accessible to all with an amazing tram service that runs every 10 minutes and just a short journey can get you to the stunning beaches at St. Kilda along with many other locations that you’ll have to find yourself!

Adelaide is well-renowned for the vast number of surrounding vineyards and nearby wine regions. That combined with the excellent fresh food and dining makes this city a must visit for any foodies, especially the Adelaide Central Market.

It’s not just the food and drink however, Adelaide is steeped in rich culture with famous Aboriginal history, Kangaroo Island and of course the great Australian Outback.

Located on the Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise is the entertainment and tourism hub of the area. High rise buildings boasting nightclubs, shops, cafes and observation decks. These play a stark contrast to the tranquillity of the surfing beaches that host markets during the week.

Along with Surfers Paradise, you can fill a Gold Coast day trip full of a wide range of activities with visits to the likes of Broadbeach, Burleigh Heads or the Gold Coast Hinterland, home to the Gondwana Rainforests and the Lamington National Park.
